Holy Trinity with St John's

We are a community of ordinary people who are on an extraordinary journey. In September 2021, the established churches of Holy Trinity SE20 and St John the Evangelist Penge stepped out into the unknown as one new church, Holy Trinity with St John's. Whilst holding onto the best of the two churches' past, we are, together, exploring the new opportunities that merging has brought us and learning what our present and future as one united church holds. We would love you to join us on this exciting adventure!

We are a welcoming, diverse and outward-looking community of all ages for whom faith and fun, friendship and food are very important. We seek to be a safe space where we can bring our whole selves - our joys and sorrows, our certainties and doubts, our gifts and limitations - before the God who created us, loves us and invites us to know him better.

If you are new to the area or to church, please do check out the information on the New to Church page or contact us if you'd like to talk further or to visit.

Planning your Visit

New to Church?

If you're coming to Holy Trinity with St John's for the first time, this information will help you know what to expect.

Where and When?

Our 8am service is at our Holy Trinity Site (location details here).

Our 10:30am service is at our St John's Site (location details here).

For more information about our different Sunday services, please click here.

What about my children?

We actively welcome families with children of all ages. If your child is a baby or a toddler, they will remain with you for the duration of the service. A welcomer will give you a Toddler Bag as you come in - these contain a variety of toys and games to entertain your child. We are aware that it can be very hard for a toddler to remain in their seat throughout the service. If your child is getting restless, there is space on the carpeted area at the back where they can move about - and don't worry at all if they make a noise!
