Our Vision

Our vision, under God, is to become a growing family of prayerful, bible-centred, Spirit-filled people who value justice, treasure Jesus and aim at excellence in all things for the glory of God.

We aim, therefore, to be a welcoming, hospitable and ethnically diverse community of people who:
  1. love Jesus and each other at full stretch (1 Peter 1:22-23),
  2. work together to bring hope and practical help to the wider community (1 Peter 2:12), and
  3. readily speak to others about Jesus Christ and his gospel with clarity, gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).

Our Purpose

PROCLAIMING JESUS CHRIST FOR LIFE

Our purpose is to spend our lives joyfully experiencing and faithfully proclaiming Jesus Christ as the way, the truth and the life.

The unique claim of Jesus is that he is the only way to eternal life (John 14:6) - that is our message.

The Christian life is about following this Jesus in life-long, Spirit-empowered, joyful perseverance (Hebrews 10:36) - that is our goal.

Everything we do as a church to fulfil this purpose can be understood in terms of two activities called mission and ministry.

Our mission is to promote the gospel by meeting people, helping people, and telling people about Jesus Christ.

Our ministry is to apply the gospel by teaching people, ministering to people in the power of the Holy Spirit, and equipping people to love and serve Jesus Christ.
