Welcome to St John’s Church Penge. We pray that you will feel welcome and are able to enjoy the fellowship and friendship of the church family.
St John’s is an evangelical church and is part of the Church of England. We meet weekly for worship services, which have a relaxed style, and there are lots of activities taking place throughout the week. All we do is shaped by our ‘Six Values’, that put our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, at the heart of everything we do.
  • We live in intimate relationship with the Father through prayer and worship;
  • We totally depend on the Holy Spirit;
  • We radically submit to God’s word;
  • We passionately seek the lost;
  • We humbly serve those in need;
  • We live in loving community.
We are a welcoming family from all walks of life and a growing church. We are becoming the ‘world in a church’, a diverse community with members from across the globe, something we cherish and are excited about. We also have members of the church family serving all over the world. Motivated by our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit and grounded in our Values, we love our church community, our local community and the world community.
So in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, welcome to St John’s; we look forward to getting to know you better over the days and weeks ahead.

 Verse of the day
John 3:16-17
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him."
