Penge to Paris Cycle Ride

A team of six members of St John's Church, including our vicar, Nigel Poole, cycled from Penge to Paris at the end of July 2017, to raise funds towards the church's redevelopment project to create a community hub. Although not particularly experienced cyclists, we trained hard in the months before setting off, and completed the journey in 5 days, covering over 215 miles and staying in Bed and Breakfast accommodation en route. After a day in Paris to see some of the sights, the team travelled home by Eurostar to London St Pancras, completing the challenge with a ride home to Penge from central London.

A huge 'thank you' to all who so generously sponsored our ride. If you would still like to support us in this project and make a contribution, please go to our Just Giving page.
