St John's Daytime
Alpha Course
starts Wednesday
9th May 2018

Each session meets at 11:15pm for an 11:30pm start

A creche will be provided for children

The first session begins on a Wednesday but all subsequent sessions will be on
Mondays. Light refreshments will be served.

The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to freely explore the basics of the Christian faith - no pressure, no follow up, no charge.

The talks are designed to encourage debate and explore christian faith in a friendly, honest and informal environment.

The sessions will cover:
  • 09/05/18 - Is there more to life than this? 
  • 14/05/18 - Who is Jesus? 
  • 21/05/18 - Why did Jesus die? 
  • 04/06/18 - How can I have faith? 
  • 11/06/18 - Why and how do I pray?
  • 18/06/18 - Why and how do I read the bible?
  • 25/06/18 - How does God guide us?
  • 02/07/18 - Who is the Holy Spirit? What does the Holy Spirit do?
  • 09/07/18 - How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?
                       How can I make the most of the rest of my life?
  • 16/07/18 - Why and how should I tell others? What about the Church?
